I’m an applied microeconomist studying labour market integration and human capital formation. My current research agenda comprises several projects, organised under a broader umbrella on the integration of newly arrived immigrants in Sweden, that examine how institutional structures and policy design shape integration and welfare outcomes, and the inequalities that can arise between and within immigrant groups, drawing on quasi-experimental variation arising from administrative procedures.

Separately, I also work with my supervisor Mikael Lindahl, together with Gustav Kjellsson, Martin Karlsson, and Christian Møller Dahl, on a project in historical economics and the economics of education, broadly related to human capital formation and long-run inequality.

My current projects have received the required ethical approval and research funding. This page will be updated with more details once relevant progress has been made.
